From that moment your eyes glistened
When your sigh spoke my soul listened
My mind went numb my heart unlocked
I hid the key inside my lifelong clock
Great minds think alike
Great thinkers like a mind
Never mind I never mind
Clever minds miss signs this way
Ever blind that was my misplay
Rhymes hide years and tears cover scars
Absence met destiny
Sovereignty got the best of me
Left the rest to rest in me
Regrets now pester me
Time is short when you’re gone so long

Memories capture flight and fancies fashion
Dreams rapture nights and fantasies crash in
