Job 1

What’s a job you would like to do for just one day?

Since the ask is impossible

The task so improbable

The risk unimaginable

If not for a lifetime

If only for one day

I wish to spend with you

For twenty and four hours

We would lie among the flowers

Conversing in the rain

Then climb the Eiffel Tower

Have lunch at Café de la Paix

An afternoon another shower

A slow stroll along the Seine then

Dinner at Le Jules Verne we devour

As the moon waxes and time wanes

Reality creeps in with the dawn

This wish has always been insane

Like a watercolor in the rain drawn

The pretty picture turns plain

As the sun shines on morning lawn

The dream disappears once again
